Senita Athletics Design Competition (Leggings Print)

Are you a graphic designer, doodler, artist, or have an eye for beautiful things? We want YOU to design our next pair of printed leggings!

How it works:

We will gather all entries and select our favorite 4 designs. Those 4 entries will then be brought before the public for voting, and the design with the most number of votes will win!

To Enter:

  • The contest is only open to individuals (companies, design firms, or organizations are not permitted to enter)
  • Email your digital artwork to contact@senitaathletics.com with the title “Design Competition” as the header
  • No more than three entries may be submitted by any one entrant
  • Do not submit any copyrighted artwork
  • The deadline for entries is midnight April 31, 2016
  • There is no fee to enter the contest

Submission guidelines:

The purpose of this contest is to design the next printed leggings for Senita Athletics Endurance Pants.

Acceptable files: vector files (PDF, EPS, AI), high resolution jpg (300 ppi). Artwork must be in CMYK color mode. If possible, please include a photo of the design layered on a pair of pants to depict the size of the print. We encourage you to submit artwork without words/text. Because the print is going all over the leggings, please submit a square file that has a seamless pattern. Here are two tutorials on creating seamless patterns.  Seamless patterns can be repeated over and over to create a large pattern.

The dye sublimation method will be used to print on the leggings. Sublimation is a printing technique that allows for full color, all over prints. Artwork is printed on a sheet of high-release paper and transferred onto the fabric using heat and pressure. Heat converts the solid dye particles into a gas, known as sublimation, and bonds them to the polyester fibers.

Winner:

The winner will receive the free pair of leggings they designed, a $100 gift card to our shop, and fame and glory of course. We would also love your help in naming the new pants!

Senita Athletics reserves the rights to the images submitted for printing for the purpose of selling of leggings. We reserve the right to alter the images submitted as well.

Hello,

I came across your page and was curious if you would be running another design competition? I am a graphic designer and abstract artist and I would be interested in doing some kind of design collaboration with your company. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank You!
